In general, we have developed a story line, or even few story lines to follow. I will, if others help me, try to recall all of them but it will take some time. So far main story line is search for Claywick, who has gone missing when infiltrating brigands, undercover. We have managed to capture a man with initials KV who according to us was behind the incident of Claywick disappearance, the"only" problem is that he bears a seal of King Theoden's emisary. After useless tries to break him, we found a way to get some information from him, but he has his price. He seeks a woman Glissendor, kings second cousin, and claims he want's to save her. We do not trust his intentions though.

Lavindra is investigating crashed wagon KV was traveling, what can she find there?

Merdric is appointed to be decorated for saving KV from wrackage, he indeed helped getting him from a wagon. How can it be useful for us and not only for Merdric.

Golor is seeking help, what kind of help might it be?

any ideas of how the story may develop

For Lavindra: Excellent idea! You find Kharzule's horse nearby, which had been tethered to the wagon, but broke free in the attack. In the saddlebag, you find a personal letter to Kharzule from Grimma Wormtounge. He writes at great length how 'well' Kharszule's son is doing as a page in Theoden's court(implied threat?), then immediately emphasizes how important it is to find Glissendor (doesn't explain why...). Grimma also expresses an interest in 'dealing' with the elf who 'took' Glissendor, a Teleri named Eldarane (yeh...another alt =D). Interestingly, the letter makes no mention of the Riders....

For Golor: from Lavindra's discoveries, you might wish to ask The Shipbuilder (Ciradan?) in Celondim about Eldarane.

For Merdric: Very tasty bit having Kharzule's tormentor decorated for his 'rescue'! Love it! Merdric is a PERFECT foil for Kharzule! RP goodness!

Tip O The Hat </:-)

NOTE: I will not be in-game for the next two Sundays, but we can use this thread to explore associated tendrils to the main storyline in prep for a next session; consider Kharzule a 'guest' in-house until then.

“Hold your ground, hold your ground! Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!”

Ok. How about this:

Frustrated with his personal failure to make Kharzule speak truthfully Golor went for council to his Lord Elrond to find out more about Wormtongue and his apparant true lord, Saruman.

Lord Elrond could tell me little about Grima, but warned Golar that Saruman is of a skill and power that indeed is far to great for him (Golor) to face. He suggests Golor to travel to the plains of Rohan to find out more about this Grima.

He speaks of this to Commander Harondred whe explains Grima being a master flatterer, liar, and manipulator. Who -somehow- fell in league with Saruman and has worked to weaken Théoden and his kingdom through lies and persuasion.

My personal view on the event is this:

Uisce found out -the usual way- that it is not a good idea to find out the usual way what the Inn League keg does.

Golor found out -the usual way- that it is not a good idea to stare into the Seeers Orb to find someone that just tried the sinister keg as he did see more than he bargained for.

And lady Ysole showed us -in a very unusual way for a Minstrel- some valuable lessons in the Barrow Downs, which can be simply stated as: "Sammy is a whimp".

Now there was a lot more to it, personal grief and fun times but that... for another occasion.

Nice, i see you did have a good time -the ususal way- Inn League Keg is fun, but it is rumoured that it can port person to one place unaccesible the other way, mysterious Pub above 21st hall in moria.
As it comes to Lady Ysole she is as far as beeing usual as it gets, and that is usual for her :P
